  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 ½ cups + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 cup whole or 2% milk (warmed to 110°F)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • For topping: additional butter, garlic, parsley, egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare a greased 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a small pot, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant; set aside to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, parsley, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  4. Add warm milk, egg, and cooled garlic butter to the dry mixture; knead until smooth and tacky.
  5. Divide dough into 12 equal portions and shape into balls; place in the prepared pan.
  6. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1-2 hours).
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg wash before baking for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Melt remaining butter with garlic for finishing; brush over rolls after baking.
